I think I've always been an artistic person. As far back as I can remember, I've found my bliss in creating things - though my preferred medium has always fluctuated quite a bit. I first learned to sew when I was a child, but it didn't occur to me that I might be able to make my living that way until I was older and found myself in a very non-creative job. I quit. I quit. And then I had a baby. My beautiful little monkey boy! And I very quickly realized that, as much as I love my costuming work, I don't think I can leave him every day to go to the theatre. My focus has changed. And so I've turned my attentions to projects that I can do without having to separate myself from the boy. I've even gone back and revisited some of the many things I loved creating in the past. I hope my joy shows through my work and that you love these items as much as I do. :)
