Mimi VonLace's Profile
When I was a little girl, we didn't have a lot of money, But my parents worked hard and did the best they could to take care of me and my brother. I would get excited when my mom would take me to the thrift store and let me choose clothes, because I knew I could cut up and re-invent an outfit and use the scraps to make my accessories. I would get all dressed up and paint my face with whatever makeup my mom had lying around.I would pretend to be in a place way before my time, and would become this character whom I thought was way cooler than any super hero or Movie star I saw on T.V.
Well a lot of years and 3 kids later not a lot has changed, except the fabric I use and the the Idea that one day I hope to pass down a Legacy to my own Daughters and give them something to be proud of.
