I want people to experience a bit of joy when using one of these items.
I have been creating things for a long time. By 8 or 9, I was carving wooden kitchen spoons for my Mom. By 11 or 12, making wooded boxes was my passion. By age 14, I was taking art (painting) classes. About that time, I discovered army surplus gasoline field stoves and began heating and straightening automotive leaf springs for making knives. When I was 18 the wonderful world of welding and metal fabrication was discovered and I have been in love ever since.
Along the way, as my family grew, I built beds, dining room tables, shelves, and other furniture that we needed. I even built our house.
