Welcome to my shop where you will find original photographs primarily of garden plant and landscape subjects......and my cat.

I use both a traditional, through the lense camera and a scanner to capture my images, and sometimes combine both processes
Using a scanner is a process that's been around for a long time, in fact, I first saw it used to document and illustrate plant parts. But there are new advantages today when brought into the digital darkroom. I often end up with a more rendered or drawing-like quality than what my camera lens reads. I also shoot with a Nikon D50.

In my past life I owned an art gallery/frame shop in Pittsburgh, Gallery in the Square.
Selling the business, (2006) afforded a window of opportunity to create my own art, which along with developing my photography, has included designing gardens professionally. I get to spend a lot of time around beautiful plants and outdoor spaces and its a natural extension to capture and share it.

All of my images are signed on the back and the larger prints are signed and numbered and limited to an edition of 50. I tend to list the smaller pieces for Etsy, but I have many larger images that I exhibit at more traditional venues- Galleries and Art Festivals. Please contact me if you need information about other images or sizes.
