We are grown-ups now. As a result, we get to enjoy all the freedoms that being an adult entails. We can vote, drink, and move out of our parents' houses. We can pick out our own flatware patterns. If we so choose, we can leave our dirty laundry on the floor.
However, our worlds are not completely filled with gumdrops and sunshine. We live in our own individual bubbles of responsibility and crumbling uncertainty. We have bills to pay, homes to keep neat, gas tanks to fill, and children for which to care.
