If all the world is a stage, Then I’m definitely the leading lady in the comedy that is my life. Supported by an amazing cast of quirky characters, that in part inspire everything I create. In my opinion we are all works in progress, there isn't just one label or catagory that we all fit perfectly into. Therefore I've always found it hard to define my work with words. I see my pieces as a perfect blend of Vintage, Glam, and Junk.

For as far back as I can remember I've always been a crafty, do it yourselfer. For as far back as I can remember I've always been a crafty, do it yourselfer. Growing up my home was the place where creativity existed, it didn't just happen from time to time, it was like I could literally feel it in the air. If my mother didn't get home around her usual time, I knew before she even walked in the door, that she would surely show up with some sort of trinket that desperately needed a second wind. She was by far my greatest teacher and the catalyst that ignited the creative spark within me.

With that said it wasn't till recently that I actually started thinking that I might be able to do this for a living. It all started over a year ago.... The scene was the typical, run of the mill, dead end job, and I, as usual was broke. Another office birthday was coming up and I didn't even have a dollar to pitch in for a cake. When it dawned on me, Hey I love to scrapbook and I have a ton of supplies at home, why not make her a handmade birthday card. Imagine my surprise, when she and the rest of the staff absolutely loved the card. Long story short after that a bunch of my co-workers started to approach me to order birthday cards for their friends and family. The seed was planted, thus the idea to create Glam Junk Factory was conceived and the rest is all history.
