Hi!, my name is Serene and I have grown to Love making jewelry. I think I am actually addicted to it now. I am so happy to be creating beautiful pieces that can be worn and loved for a long time. Hi!, my name is Serene and I have grown to Love making jewelry. I think I am actually addicted to it now. I am so happy to be creating beautiful pieces that can be worn and loved for a long time. It all started a couple years ago when my mother opened up a vintage shop right here in San Diego called Hunt & Gather. I have always loved fashion, jewelry and anything pretty. I began fixing up some of the vintage jewelry that would come into the shop and really enjoyed this. I adored all the vintage and hand made jewelry in the shop but wondered why it was so expensive! So I decided right then and there to make my own jewelry and come up with some affordable pieces. I started making friends with people who knew how to make jewelry so I would ask them how to do something if I couldn't figure it out. I only sold my stuff at Hunt & Gather for a while, but eventually my good friend from my other job at an Organic Food Co-Op started ordering pieces from me every week! Now all the girls at my work rock my pieces and people were asking who was making their stuff. So I finally got my etsy shop up, cards made, and sell at other stores in San Diego as well as a farmers market. Now it's a part time job and I have to keep making more and more wears. I make as much as I can while having two young babies! I stay up late at night and create just for you. :D
