Hello Everyone and Welcome! It's so nice to have you here.

I still vividly remember the first time I saw a potter throwing clay. It was on a kick wheel, and it was magical - the opportunity came much later for me than I would have chosen, but it finally did. It's continued to be a visceral experience for me ever since - you can compare it to the way dancers use movement, or musicians their instruments. It is a relationship, a conversation, a feeling, an expression.... The clay, glazes, pigments and the shaping of the form become the vehicle expressing longing and the heart's desire for peace and tranquility in the face of life's uncertainties.

Hello Everyone and Welcome! It's so nice to have you here.

It's continued to be a visceral experience for me ever since - you can compare it to the way dancers use movement, or musicians their instruments. It is my wish that my offerings speak to you of elegance, refinement, loveliness, beauty, style, poise, charm, kindness, benevolence, blessing, prayer, and thanks - that they provide you with adornment, embellishment, and decorative accents in your home or office.

My inspiration and guidance comes from gifted artist and teacher, Margaret Wozniak. It's been a privilege to be able to grow under her tutelage. Margaret's knowledge, skill and sensitivity, influences my work yet still gives me freedom to explore, invent and interpret. I could not ask for a better mentor.

I am a proud member of the EtsyMudTeam and also belong to the Art League of Long Island (ALLI), The Potters Council, and of The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) and a active participant of the Potter's Wheel, a teaching studio in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York.

Thanks to you for stopping by and enjoy!!
