About me, Kimberlee, the designer and maker and shop owner.
From my earliest memories I have crafted with anything I could get my hands on. My mother affectionately called me the "garbage picker" because I would take fabric sewing scraps, little boxes, {clean} paper towel rolls and such to create little bits of fancy. My mother saved some of my little gems and she cherishes them to this day. Once I was old enough to work with a needle and thread she taught me how to sew I loved making little bags and purses to hold all my little treasures. Thankfully, I have advanced my skills and have moved up in the world to now finding fabric from fabric shops. But, I still frequent thrift stores for wedding dresses and ball gowns and vintage jewelry to refashion into something even more useful and beautiful.

When I found out I was having a little girl I made a bevy of baby products for her. I eventually made a business of it when I quit my teaching job to stay home with my little girl. Not long after, I shifted gears into wedding products because I just couldn't stop glitzing up everything I made. I have long collected vintage jewel treasures and I probably don't need to tell you that vintage jewels and babies don't mix. I couldn't personally use all the rhinestone clad accessories (remember I have a young child; I don't get out much.) So I have begun crafting them into chic wedding accessories, like hair flowers and garters to share with anyone else who cherishes vintage lovelies like I do. I sell locally to friends and local brides, and love the custom requests, aa well as from my Etsy shop, Gracefully Girly: http://gracefullygirly.etsy.com

Maybe I can make something for you or someone you love!
