Laura Lichter's Profile

About

Grandma grew up during the depression and sewed mostly everything she wore. She was an amazing seamstress! In the 70's she opened a fabric store for a little while. After the fabric store closed down, her personal collection of fabrics and patterns multiplied. When I was growing up, I used to have so much fun sifting through the old patterns and looking through all of the beautiful materials. Grandma died in 1994 and Mom and I inherited quite a collection of sewing supplies.

Now that it has been 17 years and we have been holding onto all of these wonderful treasures, we have decided it is time to finally let other people enjoy them. It is really hard to put a price on all of these wonderful memories, but it is time to make space for new ones.

Everything listed is from Grandma's personal collection. A lot of the patterns have been used, but they are mostly kept in great condition. Please request me to check a pattern to make sure all of the pieces are there. So far, I haven't found any missing pieces, but I am sure it is possible.

I am new to all of this, so feel free to give me advice and leave me comments. I want for each person that makes a purchase to enjoy my Grandma's treasures as much as I used to enjoy looking through everything.

I look forward to seeing pictures of what you have made with my patterns and materials!
