GreatLakesSpinnery's Profile

About

As a trained Biomedical Communicator, uniquely enough...nothing makes more sense to me than to spin, knit and crochet!

My deep love for spinning stems from my obsession for knitting and crocheting, which was taught to me by my Nana when I was younger than I can remember. My absolutely fabulous husband-to-be bought me my first wheel right after i was finished graduate studies in an attempt to cut back on the "yarn obsession".....he laughs now as I've got more than ever from my very own hard-working hands!

Spinning lets me create, experiment and learn all at once. Sometimes the end product is more beautiful and thought-provoking than ever imaginable and that justifiably makes me feel good.

Truly, nothing makes me more happy than spinning...except perhaps my golden retriever :)
