I can't take credit for the photos I've taken--I simply frame a piece, a moment of the world outside me. The natural world, color, a landscape or the sea, it's all alive, ever-changing. I only try to capture it, to remember, a feast for eyes when your day needs a little more color.
In that vein, I've also created a limited number of hand-dyed, hand-made sacks and bags, intended originally for long-term grocery shopping. I was tired of seeing the old plastic, undegradable bags so many grocers sell as green. These bags are truly green, made of burlap, a natural fiber, and 100% cotton, all hand-dyed with non-toxic dyes, and sewn to last. If you spend as much money as I do on groceries, putting them in a nice bag is only just!
