Children and their sense of wonder are often the catalyst for my creations. My artistic process begins first with imagination, then a series of sketches, and finally a piece that is digitally colored. Children and their sense of wonder are often the catalyst for my creations. My artistic process begins first with imagination, then a series of sketches, and finally a piece that is digitally colored. Many of my illustrations feature two little dreamers, or souls, running about in their pajamas. They are often featured gazing up to the sky. Their faces are rarely exposed as I hope it invites the viewer to place themselves into the perspective of the little dreamer. I hope my little characters stir up the childlike imagination of the viewer and take them back to the magical thinking that inspires so much of what children do. Art can trigger so much in an audience, hopefully mine allows them to think, “I remember when I was little and dreamed of …!”

All of my prints are printed with archival inks rated to last over 90 years. I also use archival grade papers. Prints are signed on the front usually lower right hand corner (this is simply artist preference).
