Hallelujah Truth Schowalter's Profile

About

My art emerges from deep within my gut, heart, and inner vision. I draw, write, and paint every day as part of my practice to live my life truthfully and authentically. I call myself a SPIRITUAL ART PILGRIM because I explore the meaning of life through the mysteries of my art making. In my creative life, I also teach international students English at Georgia Tech, care for and collaborate with my paleontologist husband, Anthony Martin, nurture two cats, and blog about art and the natural world at Coffee With Hallelujah. I propose if you have time for a morning beverage, you have a minimum of 15 minutes every day to experience your SOUL by making an image or writing down your ideas. As Natalie Goldberg teaches the mantra about the daily practice of creativity, repeat to yourself, "Not good. Not bad. Just is."
