I first fell in love with vintage the summer my grandmother let me pick "dress-up" clothes from a rack of 1950s prom dresses at a thrift store. Oh, how I wish I still had them. Now, I wear a little vintage every day and it makes me feel connected not only to the girl who would twirl through the garden in candy-colored chiffon but also to the past in a tangible way. I believe giving vintage clothing a second chance is a wonderful way to live more sustainably too!

When I am not thinking about vintage clothes, I love to sew, cook, garden, draw, write, and play with my two wonderful kids. Seeing the beauty in the everyday, moment-to-moment, life is my constant goal.
