A gifted screen printer and hard working small business owner, Georgie pays attention to all the small things, not missing a stray hair or cracked tooth. She has moved across the country from Ontario to the coast of British Columbia, and managed to trek around both sides of the border in between. A graduate from Emily Carr University, she was a founding member of Seamprippers Craft Collective and fiercely contributed to the ever evolving Vancouver hand made community. Eventually she saw that her practice could best take shape in the form of a company that produced her screen printed images on clothing + textiles. Hand and Shadow is the fruits of this kind of labor, careful screens crafted from both found images and the hand drawn.
