About

I started designing my own patterns when I picked up crocheting more often in 2011. But I recently started selling them too! It is so much fun seeing the colors and design work its self out and then patiently writing out the pattern. The not fun part is the computer work but, it's growing on me.

I started welding in high school just for the fun of it. They had put me in the class and the teacher didn't want to teach me because I was a girl. So I got the guys in the class to teach me. I quickly fell in love!

When they changed shop teachers I went back and learned more. I even was able to enter some of my first projects in the county fair winning Reserve Grand Champion in my division!

Between this time I learned more from serveral friends who did welding and volunteered my limited knowlegde to helping build on volunteer construction projects.

Currently I am in college taking a welding certificate program for a year.

I love welding and I love art soo I have now combined my talents and brought them to Etsy where I hope to spread some of the joy I have found in metal and art. Yet, being a country girl I also hope to add functionality to my pieces.

Recently I started crocheting again. I had learned when I was about 9 one summer when I had to stay inside and still all the time because I had gotten my tonsil taken out(yucky). So our neighbor helped teach me how to crochet, later I taught myself to knit, though I'm not very good at it.

But I have always loved the craft since, always making something. Keeping myself busy.
I hope they are a beautiful and precious to me as they will be to you also.
