I am a stay-at-home mommy of two little ones and I am just loving the opportunity to create great things! My product inspiration comes from my kids, and then I create things that Moms will love too. Afterall, we are the ones who use them.

I learned how to sew as a little girl, along-side my mother who got me my very own machine at a very young age! For years I made pillows, doll clothes, and numerous other little things. I barely used my machine through college or after graduation. Then, I broke it out of its case after my first kid was born. My daughter just had to be a ladybug for her first Halloween, and I just had to make the costume! I have been sewing away since then. My machine arsenal now includes a new sewing machine, a serger, and an embroidery machine. I LOVE my studio and all of the creative potential it holds.

My blankets have been inspired in part by my love of blankets that began as a child, when I would drag around huge quilts and bedspreads; and in part by my Mother-in-Law who makes four blankets for each of her grandchildren, calling them "Night-Nights." Each Night-Night is made from two generously sized pieces of flannel and I have yet been able to find blankets that work as well as these do! They are great for swaddling, playtime, traveling, loveys, capes, and so much more. Best of all, each blanket is chosen specifically for each child and no one else has one like it. It is totally theirs.

Thank you, Barbara, for creating such cute blankets for our kids. They still always have at least one in their beds at night.

I am constantly thinking up new product ideas, if only I had enough time to make them all. Check back often for new things.
