About

I am a stay-at-home mom, busy with two young children and wife of a very supporting husband. We're about to embark on our homeschooling journey. I look forward to the adventures it will bring.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, photography, music and traveling.

Harriet's Haven is my shop, named after my maternal grandmother, who passed away when my mom was only 16. I was never blessed with the opportunity to meet her, but have heard many stories of her and my grandpa Leo, whom also passed away at an early age. I have a beautiful photograph of the two of them in my dining room, and they were an absolutely adorable couple! Harriet and Leo have their arms wrapped around each other in front of their home and a lilac bush, while Harriet is dressed holding a flower, and Leo is dressed in a suit and tie. I often gaze at the photograph and wonder what they were really like.

Naming my shop after my grandmother Harriet is a small way of my honoring her. I like to think she would have enjoyed seeing my creations, and would have guided me to continue creating. I hope you, too, will enjoy my items!
