I love good beer, good barbecue, good books and good crochet. I have been crocheting since I was 7 (18 years, but who's counting?). I have done blankets, hats, scarves, and snowflakes, among other things. My favorite thing to make is baby hats. I have just recently learned to knit- I have to be honest, it's not my greatest strength!

I love writing my own patterns and playing around with different yarns, and my yarns-of-the-moment are Peaches-n-Cream and Sugar-n-Spice. Both are 100% cotton yarns, grown in America, and best of all- they're washable! That's something people don't always think about when buying a hat for a young child or baby- that hat is eventually going to end up with spit up or smashed peas on it, and who has time to hand-wash a hat? With these yarns, you just toss the hats in the wash on gentle, and dry on a low setting, and you're all ready to go. I also love to work…
