My story starts when I was about 7 years old. I had a dream that I was watching the Great Pyramids of Giza being built. I can still recall that dream to this day. I have always had a deep interest in antiquity and in anything vintage. I had a little booth in the "Old City" in Knoxville in the early nineties where I sold vintage clothing and and collectables. It was called Mish Mosh. It was in the old Jackson Ave. Antique Market Place.
When I was younger I wanted to be a fashion designer. I ended up going to school for painting and graphic design. In the past few years I have become completely obsessed with knitting and felting. I am constantly making something new, buying something new or thinking about making or buying something new. I am now a member of the Foothills Craft Guild for fiber arts. My original loves we're painting and graphic design. I have earned BFAs in each. The first (painting) from Belmont University in Nashville and the second (graphic design) from the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
