Connie Tehada's Profile
Music has always been a major influence in my art.
Concerts were a weekly thing growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area during the 60s.
I would travel from Bezerkley to San Francisco and all around to see the greats, Janis Joplin to Jimi Hendrix at Winterland, Filmore, and concerts in the parks.
I also draw inspiration from the likes of Walt Disney, Jim Henson, and Maurice Sendak.
My macabre influences are Edgar Allan Poe, Lon Chaney, and Vincent Price. It's a joy to find them late at night when I'm having trouble sleeping.
I'm trying out the blog thing. www.connietehada.blogspot.com
