I've made my living for the past 7 years restoring antique furniture and wooden objects. I apprenticed under an English master restorer in the tradition of West Dean, and have worked on literally hundreds of pieces for dealers, interior designers, private collectors, and museums.
Throughout, I've learned and developed an array of treatments for wood and metal. I enjoy creating surfaces that emulate the natural processes of time, and that appear to be untouched. I pride myself on being an illusionist, capable of fooling the most trained eye. I've decided to take my methods, and combine them with my aesthetic sense for the purpose of creating interesting decorative objects.
