Hello and welcome to Henley Carpentry! We are a boyfriend and girlfriend team! Travis is the Product Developer and Creative Craftsman and I am head of Marketing and Public Relations!

Living in the heart of North Carolina provides access to a multitude of locally grown woods but we also purchase a few exotic woods as well that are used to create the unique and beautiful items you see here.

Travis had his own woodworking bench in his father’s shop at a very young age and observed his father create many items for their home such as rocking chairs, cedar chests, pie safes, etc. His father had a love of the craft that you might say he ‘passed down’ to his son.

As a result of this passion, Travis has developed a multitude of skills over the years with wood including building decks, Adirondack chairs, outdoor swings, fences, planter boxes, bird feeders, bird houses, cedar benches, candle holders, wine glass holders and the list just keeps on going.

Using various types of woods including reclaimed wood creates interesting textures, grains, knots, shades, colors and flaws that cannot be duplicated in any other item making them ‘one-of-a-kind’ rustic masterpieces for your home!
