About

HeyMom is a subject of stories I have written about myself and Mom whom I haven’t called mother -- which makes others feel most comfortable and warm -- after she died all of a sudden when I was 18 years old, with my heart on part of my diary since 2005.
At first, I wrote it as a daughter longing for her mother.
As I arrived at the years when mother gave birth to me and raised me,
I realized I wanted to be a woman as much as I am mother or wife to somebody.
I realized too late that Mother was a woman before she was my mom.

So HeyMom was born after a long preparation
with teammates in their 30s ~ 60s
who are mothers, wives, daughters, and women to somebody
with the intention of giving a “gift” to those

So HeyMom was born after a long preparation
with teammates in their 30s ~ 60s
who are mothers, wives, daughters, and women to somebody
with the intention of giving a “gift” to those
who cannot live only as women under the name of “mother.”

My first assignment after Mother died was to arrange her belongings
and move to the house. As I recall, however, I couldn’t do anything
with Mom’s expensive and good articles, which lost their master; I felt
a heavy burden since they were too dear to throw away.

The memory might have been traumatic.
After that, I have grown up as a person who enjoys and delights in every moment
instead of keeping everything for a long time and puts value on
those that are fully used and then thrown away without regret.

When planning products,
I believe it is most important to find a way to delight both in
being a woman and in happiness as a wife
with products with practical and satisfactory design
and which are easy to approach like those naturally used in daily life
with family instead of pursuing uniqueness.

Now, HeyMom is waiting for the launch of bedclothes and homeware after sampling tests
in addition to posters first designed and launched as an item that can realize interior effects most easily. Before selling them, our teammates personally use and wear them as part of tests.

It might take longer time, and there might be an obstacle
to growing our brand faster
while keeping the earnestness of the HeyMom brand,
but I make all efforts to ensure that every product
is made as proud gifts
to myself, to you, and to dear Mother.

The small gifts we prepare will surely make you happy. I look forward to your full support and encouragement.

Thank you very much.
