HiAnnie's Profile

About

I am ecstatic and honored to be a part of the Etsy community. Thank you so much for supporting handmade and for taking the time to check out me and my shop.

My maternal grandmother taught me how to sew when I was nine. I loved spending long hours at the machine in her basement while she hovered over my shoulder, guiding me. I am ever grateful to her for passing on her skills.

After years and years of following pattern instructions that made me anxious and stressed--aversion to authority, much?--I began to make my own designs. I prefer the creative freedom this affords over simply replicating someone else's vision.
