I remember my first bracelet. It was a delicate chain with silver ballet slippers dangling from it. What I particularly remember about that bracelet is the wee bit of science I learned when a silver slipper came in contact with an electrode on my brother's train set. Silver, like other metals, conducts electricity! I've always attributed that first "electrifying" experience with the energetic charm silver has had for me since.
A few years ago I began playing with gemstones, designing necklaces, bracelets and earrings. What started as play soon morphed into a passion as I discovered in jewelry a new and immensely satifying means of expression. The jewelry you find here is inspired in some measure by the colors, textures and moods of nature which are richly in abundance outside my studio window, on a mountain path or along summer's sandy shores…
