Larry Hogue's Profile

About

I was first intrigued by glass as a kid growing up amongst victorian homes in Tacoma, Wa., USA, with detailed leaded beveled glass windows. Later in life I worked with stained glass, creating unique and colorful windows. My passion for glass evolved to glass blowing, glass fusing, coldworking, and glass sculpting. I'm now trying to create detailed patterns that combine complimenting colors, detailed murini, and zanfirco canes, with classic shapes into one of a kind art glass forms. I also use a lot of Italian style glass technics to create the patterns in my work. I wish to share with you my love of this delicate and beautiful art form with a wide variety of handmade glass items made in Seattle, Washington, USA.
