About

I love all things artsy- whether I can master the art or not. My husband loves painting, I love crocheting, sewing and designing. My WIllow Tree Yarnery Shoppe is truly an expresison of myself.
I opened the shop in 2009 after everyone complimented my designs and kept telling me I should sell them. The thought never crossed my mind to be honest. At the time, I was a Marine Corp wife with 3 small daughters (3, 5 and 8 years old) and a career in business marketing. It was official, I wanted to offer my products to the Etsy community. I named my shoppe Willow Tree Yarnery because yarn was the first artistic medium I truly discovered and my mom's favorite tree was always the Weeping Willow. This shop is in memory of her for always encouraging me to be myself, dress the way I want and to be a strong woman.
Today, I am still married to my heavily-bearded veteran, my girls are growing into young ladies, I play roller derby, have a successful business career and still feel a special kind of artistic satisfaction with every new design :)
