I have been spinning for 30 years and have spun a wide range of fibers including sheep, alpaca, bison, dog and cat, silk, soy and holographic film. I live in Jerusalem with my family in a quaint stone house with a lovely attached garden.
I was spinning so much lately (and having a wonderful time) that I strained my thumb a bit so I had to take a break. It turns out that sewing doesn't affect that thumb so I started making rag dolls. I indulged in quilting fabrics for their clothes, lace from old Laura Ashley dresses, pretty buttons, tucks - everything I could think of!
As my grand daughter (one of my biggest fans) has gotten older and is interested in Barbie more than in rag dolls, I've expanded my offerings and opened a second Etsy shop just for Barbie. It is called One Class Act and can be found at http://www.etsy.com/shop/OneClassAct?ref=…
