Welcome to the House of JAM!

I am a U.S. citizen who now lives in Taiwan. I have recently quit my job to become a full-time homemaker. I started sewing since high school, I have been making garments and household items (from curtains to pillow cases) since then. I love to sew and have been taking Japanese quilting lessons since 2005.

All items in this shop are handmade by me and my partner from a smoke-free environment. My house is not pet-free. We live with a 12-year old labrador retriever. Although I use lint roll to clean all my items before they go out of the door, if you have severe allergies to pets, please let me know.

We insist on quality. We LOVE Japanese fabrics, although they are pricey and cost twice as much as other designer fabrics, we use them to the extent that we can, sometimes even for the linings. For accessories, such as zipper, handles, we also use the top quality ones, as we don't want to have the cheapy ones to ruin the look and feel of our products.

My partner and I love to design new things, we hate to make the exact same thing over and over again. Therefore, many of our items are one of a kind. In addition, we don't buy fabrics in bulk, for most fabrics, we only buy 1/3 of a yard and definitely no more than 1 yard, therefore all designs are limited. Please grab them when you see them.

Please feel free to look around, hope that you can find something that you like. Enjoy!
