Welcome to Under the Lollipop Tree.

Let me tell you a little about me. I earned a mechanical engineering degree, married a wonderful man, had four awesome children, and never worked in my field. So here I am, stuck with an engineer's brain (wouldn't trade it if I could) and no engineering job (Praise the LORD! This is so much better.). Now I design things for my family-ideas my own brain hatches (really, it's God giving wisdom when I ask 'how can I possibly make this work?' He always knows.)

By now you might be wondering what this all has to do with my very nontechnical, under-engineered shop. Well, this is how it goes: the handmade things fill a need somewhere along the line. That is very important to my logical thinking self. The vintage and supplies are often left over from some designing and constructing I have done for the people around me. And someday, I hope to share some of my best and most useful (and actually engineered) designs here on Etsy.

It is God who has given me the ability to design, and then to follow through and create, and I thank Him for it. I also thank and praise Him for saving my soul. Without that, I would not have the peace and joy that I have today, or the promise of heaven.
