Diane Hicks' Profile

About

Okay, so here is the freakin news as I see it. Grampa Rex Walker had him a shop in Compton, California forever called Imperial Iron Works. His son, my dad has himself a business named Imperial Instruments located in beautiful downtown Rushville, Illinois, yeap. So there you have it, my little venture is called Imperial Bobbles. I'm starting out with some fresh necklaces and such. After I move in the spring and set up my new kiln, oh boy, I'll be trying out fused glass, glass beads, ceramics and who knows what all.
And who the heck am I? Well the short of it is I tend to hide out here at the beach, do weird kinds art, do have the requisite art MFA degree and dig my many assorted weird, wild and precious friends. Yep, we are a talented lot here on the Washington Coast. Check out my wares and look for whats more to come in the future...
