I remember vividly watching my parents, grandparents and uncles create things with their hands and still own many of their pieces. Having ownership of something they made from scratch is very like holding a tangible piece of them...and makes my heart very happy.

About

I began crafting at an early age and come from a long line of potters, carpenters, and, well, crafters.

I remember vividly watching my parents, grandparents and uncles create things with their hands and still own many of their pieces. Having ownership of something they made from scratch is very like holding a tangible piece of them...and makes my heart very happy.

I taught myself to sew when my boys were little. Eventually a good friend of mine taught me the finer points of sewing children's clothing and a passion was ignited.

I get bored easily, but i have used this to my advantage. I am constantly learning something new.

Dolls, in their many forms, fascinate me with their ability to connect with people...both children and adults. They are my newest pleasure, and you will find a growing assortment in my shops. I think all children should have access to dolls that look just like them...and have a variety of others to choose from, so that we teach them about our amazingly diverse world.

**************************************************

As a mother of four, I know how difficult it can be to find quality children's products upon which both mother and child can agree. This, dear Etsian, is exactly what I offer you!

All of our clothing is made with the comfort of your child in mind. One or more of my children or godchildren has tested each style. If a garment doesn't pass the kid test, I don't sell it.

All clothing seams are finished by either french seaming or zig zag stich. Dresses are lined where appropriate.

Dolls are double or (in some cases) triple stitched for safety and longevity of play.

If you are looking for something special, please contact me. I cannot always accept custom orders, but I will certainly try (especially in the case of a *doll like me*).

Finally, if you love us, tell others! If you don't, tell us. We'll do our best to make it right.
