About

My pottery is designed and made by me. Each piece is unique with its own personality. I have been working with clay for five years making regular size and miniature pottery. The name IndianHeadClay comes from the 1936 Indian head nickel I use to help you get an idea of the size of my miniature pottery. Also, I collect ancient Indian pottery chards found while beach combing on a South Carolina barrier island. Finding these anceint pieces of pottery makes me feel very close to the Indian potters who created them.
Taking soft mud and making it into a stonelike pot that holds water and will withstand heat, cold and time is very gratifying. My miniatures and regular pottery will fit in any space and bring a smile to your face. I hope you will take a look.
