Isaac Ralston's Profile
In my past career I was an automotive painter and did restoration work on vintage European cars. I was proud of the work I did, but cannot do it anymore due to a permanent overuse injury (bilateral Thoracic Outlet Syndrome). I am now back in school! Studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Washington.
Returning to school as an adult is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I was a high school dropout, grew up thinking I was only cut out for manual labor. But, here I am at the University of Washington studying one of the hardest engineering disciplines there is. I absolutely love physics and calculus! Who knew? I could not have done this at an earlier age, my mind set was not right for it, so I have no regrets. But it sure feels amazing to prove my academic and personal insecurities wrong!
