Jeff Addicott's Profile

About

I started blowing glass at the Alberta College of Art in 1989, studying under Norman Faulkner, Marty Kauffman, Jim Norton and Mark Gibeau.

My inspiration comes from desert landscapes, geological formations, and the tactile qualities of the glass itself.

As in my other career as a Jazz & R&B musician, I am inclined toward spontaneous improvisation when I work with glass. While always seeking greater command over the medium, I also strive to preserve the innocence and serendipity that I feel gives the work its true character and soul.
