About

My inspiration for designing jewelry started when I had a vision of different unique styles of jewelry from all over the world. Growing up in Iran, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Tanzania, where being surrounded by the different colors, beads, and materials, were all unique in their own way.
I always had loved turquoise and the southwestern style of jewelry. Upon moving to Arizona 3 years ago, after a lot of soul searching I decided to take the plunge and see if this is what I really wanted to do. Started out very slow, teaching myself with the help of many books. Before long, I realized that this was exactly what I was looking for to fulfill my artistic urge.
Many different styles were incorporated from the countries I have lived in. For example, living in Iran I noticed that they always mixed gold with their turquoise and it looked so rich in color, so I started to make my turquoise with gold beads.

My close and dearest friends and family have been a very big influence in my pieces and have been my best critics. Through their eyes I have developed my own style which has helped me make some very beautiful and exciting pieces. Every day I see new designs and can’t wait to sit down and place them on my beading board.
Creating my pieces gives me such a relaxing peace of mind. Many times I don’t realize how much time is spent at my beading desk, until my eyes start to water! That is my wake up call to get up and take a break, which is sometimes hard to do!
My pieces are displayed in the Gift Shop and in the Gallery at Prescott Fine Arts Association in Prescott, Arizona. Also they are displayed at the Chandler Art Walk once a month in Chandler, Arizona.
Thank you for your interest in my creations.
