For a living, I am a partner in an architectural/environmental firm. For a hobby, I am a penmaker. I have been working with wood since I was 5 years old when my Grandfather taught me how to drive a nail. (This got me in a lot of trouble later the same day.)

I became interested in penmaking after receiving a wood lathe from the LOML for a birthday present. I began making pens for friends and relatives and by request, began to sell my work.

Each pen is made with attention to detail and quality workmanship. I take pride in each and every one (even the occasional goofup).

I particularly like to make pens from Owner supplied or recycled wood. It is a great pleasure to make a pen that has some sentimental of heritage value to the client…
