As I look back over my life, my earliest memory of being creative was making ink prints with ivy leaves when I was in elementary school, doing the decorations for high school dances, hosting workshops in my home for church craft bazaars, doing mosaics on found washtubs for bamboo planters, making house number/mailbox creations for our front yard back in the 60's. Here I am, fifty years later, and I'm still finding ways to express myself, and hope to be for the foreseeable future.

Lots of times, I have had so much fun and satisfaction from making the things, I don't even care if they sell or not. I frequently give them away just to clear the deck here in my little studio on the side of a hill for my new supplies, materials and found objects.

I hope my new store finds an audience for the unique, creative items I come up with…
