About

My Dad and other ancestors must be given credit for what I am today: I was born a creative. My rich heritage of artists and musicians has helped me sustain a way of life from my passions and talents.

I have always made my living from my creativity. In the early years, I drew and painted. I also had a knack for putting creative designs together in an orderly manner, and so I delved into clothing design and home decor like custom curtains and furniture covers. Of course, the era of crocheted toilet paper covers did not pass me by! Does anyone remember them?

While raising my children and out of financial necessity, I wanted to use my creativity and talents to become a stay at home working Mom. I was a pianist and loved music. No, that’s incorrect. I was consumed by it… I loved Bach and Beethoven and Schumann and all the others…

I was consumed by it… I loved Bach and Beethoven and Schumann and all the others that influenced my watercolor paintings. I painted into the wee hours of the morning while my children slept. I joined Artists Societies and sold my paintings in Mall Art Shows (I even had a few stolen… now that’s a compliment!). I also started and ran a music school for years and taught piano and voice. Puppet shows for children with a custom made theater and puppets were always a holiday highlight. Humperdink’s Hansel and Gretel never sounded so great!

Now, I am on another creative journey and my new found passion is creating Artisan Jewelry. I’ve been learning this craft since 2009 and while I am self-taught — all my energies and talents come into play with this wonderful craft.

Take a look around at my shop, and feel free to convo me your comments!
