About

Jakira Farms is the name of our alpaca farm that we started in 2005. We now have 15 alpaca and enjoy their company every day. My shop provides natural and hand painted fiber in the form of rovings, batts and yarn. There are also some finished products available such as scarves, hats, bags, totes, quilts and just some fun miscellaneous items to round out my selection.

I started knitting when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped yet. Once we started raising alpaca I learned to spin, weave, card and dye fiber. It has been a wonderful experience and I am very excited to continue on my fiber journey.

I will be expanding my line of rovings, silk, silk blends and yarn this year and am so excited to share the fun. My goal is to provide a high quality and unique product for my customers.
