Originally from Fort William, I am currently living and studying in Galashiels in the hope that one day i will become a working textiles designer. Growing up surrounded by beautiful scenery has been a blessing and from a young age I was very involved in helping my Grandparents who lived in Nigg, with their vast vegetable garden and the many different kinds of flowers that grew there also gave me a taste of organic living and educated me in all sorts of ways. Their garden was a great place to be creative and playing in between the rows of fruit and veg as a child made my imagination run wild. I love shabby chic and having old things around the house that have been passed down in the family from one person to another which is very like all my families houses and i love the idea of making a meal from something you've grown yourself, it's very satisfying.
