Jen Anne's Profile

About

My fascination with the botanical world is bolstered by time in the garden and on hiking trails across the state. I am sure that, somehow, there must be as many words for “green” as the Eskimos have for “snow.” It is reassuring to know that the rest of my life is not enough time to examine and draw all the different leaves and plants on the Earth.

The organic patterns of leaves, stems and blooms are my vocabulary, expressed through steel, glass and ceramic in my sculptures of plants, trees and flowers.
