Hello and welcome to Jessie's Junk!

My name is Jessie (short for Jessieanne). I'm a stay-at-home mother of six beautiful children (including very active twin boys). I am located in the desert of beautiful Southern California. When I'm not taking care of the household, spending time with my family, or when I just need some time to myself I dive head first into my crafts.

On March 21, 2013 I was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma in my right knee. I underwent 25 rounds of Radiation and surgery which involved the removal of my entire knee and getting a new, and pretty heavy one, staked into my leg.

My faith in God has brought me and my family through the storm and I'm happy to say that I am Cancer free. Thanks be to God! Not being able to walk for 4 months after my surgery was pretty tough, but working on my crafts helped keep me sane.

I've been an avid crafter since I was a child. I love working with my hands and I'm passionate about arts and crafts. I drive my amazing husband crazy with my ideas. I'm always saving things to challenge myself to find a new use for it. I love to experiment with all sorts of crafts. I believe in great customer service and I'm convinced that if you love what you do it will show in your work.

I joined Etsy because it fit my need to stay home with my children and follow my dream of creating beautiful things. I'm very eclectic in my work in that I jump from place to place. Sometimes I may knit or change gears and bead or both. It all depends on my mood and the weather. I love stormy weather (we don't get it much in California)!

Please feel free to look around my shop and if you have any questions convo me and I'll be happy to respond.
