About

I'm eternally driven to create things with my hands and it started when I was a child. My grandmother sat for hours with me drawing, painting ceramics, writing poetry and generally spending her time just being my creative mentor. It really didn't matter what the craft was, I just enjoyed the fact that she wanted to teach me things. I'll never forget the inspiration she gave to me in those early years :0)

My biggest creative endeavor was starting Jester's Realm. Inspired by the theater and all things whimsical and fun, I worked with furniture pieces that I altered, repurposed, recrafted and turned into usable art. I've been involved in local arts & crafts festivals and have created custom pieces for baby showers, bridal gifts, housewarming presents and for clients in the home decor business. I spend time working as a natural light photographer as well. There is nothing like capturing that perfect expression through a portrait. Having an Etsy shop is a great way to sell all the little things I create :0) I've always excelled as a "jack of all trades" and I'm thankful for different avenues in which I can bring my talents to people all over the world. As a result of a forever changing and evolving creative process I find myself going through. I'm guided by an inner voice that never stops telling me to create simple things for others to love.

I live in a rustic woodland near the St John's river and my studio is constantly bustling with new things undergoing construction. Large party favor orders are processed while paint dries on furniture pieces - polyfil flies as remnant fabrics are cut and assembled. You never know what will emerge next!! That is the beauty of creativity!

Whether you are shopping Etsy for a little something to put in your home, a beautiful wedding or favors for special events, I certainly hope you find something in my little eclectic shop :0)

It has been a great day when I've made someone smile! Cheers!
