Jeannette Landon's Profile

About

I started making jewelry out of self defense about twelve years ago. My brother and I owned an art gallery in the Central West End (St. Louis). There were two requirements to sell your art there: 1) that you were a local artist from the bi-state area, and 2) that your art fit the name...Art Attack.

We also sold handmade jewelry and pottery on consignment. I fell in love with the wearable art. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford my champaign taste so I begged the artists to teach me the craft and art of jewelry making.

Over the years I have learned to string beads, repair broken necklaces, create individual works of wearable art. My latest endeavors include wire works in combination with beads and vintage buttons.
