I am a fifth-generation Israeli. My family history is an ingathering of the exiles with roots in Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, Syria and Persia.
After studying art and Bible at a teachers' college, I decided that I needed to express my artistic feelings through creation rather than teaching. I apprenticed with two established jewelers in Israel and when I perfected my skills I opened my own studio in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem in 1992.

My studio in Jerusalem was a meeting place for Israelis and tourists from all over the world. In a short time I developed a loyal clientele that returned from far-off lands. In 1993 a brief write-up in Condé Nast Traveler brought tourists to my studio with the article in hand. In 1996 I decided to close my studio in Jerusalem and devote my time to raising my newly born twin sons.
Nine years later, now with four sons in school, I reopened my studio at home in Eliav, a new community in the southern Lachish region of Israel. The 40+ families of Eliav are building a new ecological community made up of religious and non-observant Jews who want to build a society based on tolerance and understanding. I have taken a leading role in organizing the local artists to help market themselves in the area.
You are very welcome at my shop. Please contact me for any request, question or wish.
