Josh Bonazza of Juba Glass has been working as a hot glass artist since 1996. All of his creations are made in his studio in Oregon.
As a child growing up in upstate New York, he remembers trying to melt glass in a campfire so that he could see what it was made from. In 1995 at the age of 22, he moved to the west coast and set about studying the art of glass. Always looking to hone his skills and learn about creating glass art, he has studied with several world class contemporary glass artists at the Eugene Glass School, where he has also served as a volunteer.
Music has been another constant interest to Josh, he began playing the guitar at age 12 and still plays daily today. In his daily glass studio routine, he often takes a break from the torch by playing on the guitar.
