About

Once I learned to make jewelry there was no turning back. Now it is a passion. I love making jewelry, knitting, working with my hands. Every item in my shop is made by me, in my home studio, with love and care. I so hope you will be as happy to have it as I was in making it!

I have been making jewelry since 2006. I work with different techniques - stringing, wire work, metal work, resin.

I am inspired by everything I see - beautiful jewelry in television programs, the colors of flowers blooming in spring, the juxtaposition of colors in ordinary life. The handiwork of other artists inspires me to strive to expand my own repertoire of skills. I try to keep a notebook with me at all times to jot down notes or sketch something really quickly so I can remember it next time I am at my work table.

I love God, being with family, cooking, gardening and reading. I try to add new items to my shop every week so please stop by often.

Have a great time browsing in my shop. I welcome inquiries about custom work. If you want to personalize an item in my shop or if something you've seen here gets your own creative juices flowing, let me know and we'll design something together!

For those local to the Richmond, VA area I also handle jewelry repairs, re-knotting and restringing. As well, I re-purpose those much loved vintage pieces so you can wear them in a new way.

I will have a home or office show just for you. The hostess, of course, will receive free jewelry based on sales at the show.

In addition, if you live in my area and want to purchase something from my shop, please convo me and we can waive the delivery charge and arrange a delivery "date."

Thank you for stopping by! Enter my shop here: www.julieellisdesigns.etsy.com

I am working to open another shop, but it is not populated yet:
